My Go-To Makeup Products

by marygabrielian

Hello lovely’s! I’ve noticed in some pictures I’ve posted, there are comments asking for what eyeliner or foundation I’m using. I’ve decided to just do an updated version of my favorite eye and face products that I use on a regular basis. I’ll go step-by-step to describe each product and why I chose them!Β Screen Shot 2015-11-10 at 10.58.11 PM.png

For The Eyes:

Anastasia Beverly Hills ‘Shadow Couture World Traveler Palette’Β

This palette is definitely my go-to! It has a variety of shades from neutrals, shimmers, to daring bright hues. When I’m going for a warm-tone or brown smokey eye, I use the shades Soft Peach and Morocco, which are the first top two shades. They are the perfect subtle colors to start a warm crease.

Lorac Unzipped Eye Shadow Palette

This is such an amazing palette. The shimmers, the golds! To die for! I use this with the previous palette I talked about. After my crease, I go in with Unreal and pack it all over my lid for the perfect golden-bronzy look. I then go with Unbridled which is this gorgeous deep maroon-brown shade. I use this color under my crease and above my lid, making sure not to cover the colors I previously had on my crease. I also make sure to focus this color towards the end of my eye rather all over my crease.

L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara in Carbon Black

I have been using this mascara for years and years and it is my all-time fave! I never switch to any other mascaras. My eyelashes are pretty long to be honest, but they arent as thick. With just one or two coats, it makes my eyes look bigger and I have lashes for days!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo

It’s true when they say when it comes to brows, you can’t go wrong with Anastasia! Now my brows are pitch black and thick so it’s really hard for me to find a color to match my brows but aren’t too dark and natural looking. This powder applies so easily and makes your brows look so natural.

For The Face:

Josie Maran Pure Argan Milk

This moisturizer is simply amazing! It makes your skin so soft and plump. When I want a dewy glowy look, I definitely use this before I apply my primer.

Tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer

My holy grail! Goodbye pores and fine lines! It also smells amazing!! This makes my foundation go on so easily and flawlessly.

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Foundation

As I’ve said in a previous blog post, finding the right foundation for my skin has been so hard. Thankfully, a girl at Sephora showed me this and it matched me so well and this is full coverage matte which is what I prefer. This foudation is for sure the best one I’ve ever used.

MAC Prep + Prime Highlighter in Light Boost

For a bright under-eye, I always use this with my Real Techniques Sponge and it blends beautifully and gives me a natural bright look.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

I cannot live without this product. Before I would use the Banana powder in the Anastasia Contour Kit, but it was too yellow for me and with camera flash, it would show. The Laura Mercier powder has no color in-person or camera flash. It makes my makeup last and feels so light and airy on my skin.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit

Now I do use this contour kit just to contour. I use the first and second contour shade and the color is perfect for me because it’s not too orange-y, rather more of a grayish-tone.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer

To bronze my face, I use this bronzer. It’s waterproof which I love, and it’s also light and gives me a natural glow.

Becca Highlight in Opal

Can we say highlight on fleeeeeeek?! I apply this above my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose, my upper lip, brow bone, and above the brow to lift. This color is so beautiful with the perfect amount of golds and pinks.

Urban Decay All-Nighter Spray

Need I say more? From the AM to PM, my makeup looks exactly the same because of this. Even after working out. Yes, I know you’ve put some makeup, even BB Cream while working out πŸ™‚ Give about 4 sprays, and you’re good to go all day!
