My Palette Collection

Hi loves! My latest video is all about my face and eye palettes. I included a variety of makeup brands such as Morphe Brushes, Lorac, Tarte and a few more. As I’m getting more comfortble in front of the camera, I am hoping to film more videos soon! The camera was a little out of focus but you live and you learn! Let me know what other kinds of videos you would like to see. Thank you for visiting my blog and videos and I wish all of you guys a very happy holiday!

My Go-To Makeup Products

Hello lovely’s! I’ve noticed in some pictures I’ve posted, there are comments asking for what eyeliner or foundation I’m using. I’ve decided to just do an updated version of my favorite eye and face products that I use on a regular basis. I’ll go step-by-step to describe each product and why I chose them! Screen Shot 2015-11-10 at 10.58.11 PM.png

For The Eyes:

Anastasia Beverly Hills ‘Shadow Couture World Traveler Palette’

This palette is definitely my go-to! It has a variety of shades from neutrals, shimmers, to daring bright hues. When I’m going for a warm-tone or brown smokey eye, I use the shades Soft Peach and Morocco, which are the first top two shades. They are the perfect subtle colors to start a warm crease.

Lorac Unzipped Eye Shadow Palette

This is such an amazing palette. The shimmers, the golds! To die for! I use this with the previous palette I talked about. After my crease, I go in with Unreal and pack it all over my lid for the perfect golden-bronzy look. I then go with Unbridled which is this gorgeous deep maroon-brown shade. I use this color under my crease and above my lid, making sure not to cover the colors I previously had on my crease. I also make sure to focus this color towards the end of my eye rather all over my crease.

L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara in Carbon Black

I have been using this mascara for years and years and it is my all-time fave! I never switch to any other mascaras. My eyelashes are pretty long to be honest, but they arent as thick. With just one or two coats, it makes my eyes look bigger and I have lashes for days!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo

It’s true when they say when it comes to brows, you can’t go wrong with Anastasia! Now my brows are pitch black and thick so it’s really hard for me to find a color to match my brows but aren’t too dark and natural looking. This powder applies so easily and makes your brows look so natural.

For The Face:

Josie Maran Pure Argan Milk

This moisturizer is simply amazing! It makes your skin so soft and plump. When I want a dewy glowy look, I definitely use this before I apply my primer.

Tarte Timeless Smoothing Primer

My holy grail! Goodbye pores and fine lines! It also smells amazing!! This makes my foundation go on so easily and flawlessly.

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Foundation

As I’ve said in a previous blog post, finding the right foundation for my skin has been so hard. Thankfully, a girl at Sephora showed me this and it matched me so well and this is full coverage matte which is what I prefer. This foudation is for sure the best one I’ve ever used.

MAC Prep + Prime Highlighter in Light Boost

For a bright under-eye, I always use this with my Real Techniques Sponge and it blends beautifully and gives me a natural bright look.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

I cannot live without this product. Before I would use the Banana powder in the Anastasia Contour Kit, but it was too yellow for me and with camera flash, it would show. The Laura Mercier powder has no color in-person or camera flash. It makes my makeup last and feels so light and airy on my skin.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit

Now I do use this contour kit just to contour. I use the first and second contour shade and the color is perfect for me because it’s not too orange-y, rather more of a grayish-tone.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer

To bronze my face, I use this bronzer. It’s waterproof which I love, and it’s also light and gives me a natural glow.

Becca Highlight in Opal

Can we say highlight on fleeeeeeek?! I apply this above my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose, my upper lip, brow bone, and above the brow to lift. This color is so beautiful with the perfect amount of golds and pinks.

Urban Decay All-Nighter Spray

Need I say more? From the AM to PM, my makeup looks exactly the same because of this. Even after working out. Yes, I know you’ve put some makeup, even BB Cream while working out 🙂 Give about 4 sprays, and you’re good to go all day!

Double Trouble: Sephora & Ulta Haul

This video is long overdue, but I finally got the courage to make one! I’ve shared my recent beauty goodies I grabbed at Sephora and Ulta in this video, and I hope you guys enjoy!

The Beauty Product You Need In Your Life

I want you to stayyyyyyy! Okay I know this is what we all think when we apply our makeup on. Throughout the day, makeup usually tends to slide, your face becomes oily, or your makeup just doesn’t look like how it was when you just applied it. Especially for me, throughout the day I get oily in the T-zone. I’ve talked about this product before and I’m going to talk about it again… The Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray is Ahhmazing! I spray this on my face after I apply all my makeup on, and this makes my makeup stay in place all day, even keeps my highlighter shining for the world to see 😉 The 4oz. is $30 and the 1oz. is $14.

The Perfect Foundation For A Flawless Look

Okay this is my version of the perfect foundation. Actually two! I’ve been using the Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation since the beginning of summer. I went into Sephora and I wanted a foundation with medium to full coverage and that made my skin dewy. And I found this foundation and I am so happy I did! After using it for a while, I wanted to go for more of a matte look with more coverage that didn’t look cake-y. I’ve heard a lotttt of great things about the Kat Von D Lock-It Tattoo Foundation. This foundation is a tattoo cover up so therefore it has all the coverage you need! I mix both these foundations together and get a flawless medium-heavy cover. Separately, the Kat Von D foundation is matte and the Make Up For Ever is normal, but varying by skin types, this foundation can be dewy, matte, or normal. When I mix these two, I get somewhere in between. If you have dry skin and don’t want to use a dewy foundation and you’re afraid of it looking too oily or cake-y, try mixing in argan oil with your foundation for a beautiful, moisturized finish. In the picture below the Kat Von D foundation is almost empty 😦 I love how it’s a clear tube so you see the exact color you’re getting. These photos were taken outside with no filter, just some smoothing 🙂 The colors I use are Light45 (Kat Von D) and N125 (Make Up For Ever). What other foundations do you recommend I try?

Golden Brown Shimmery Eyes

I had fun playing around with makeup today and decided to do a golden-brown eye with some shimmer. These photos were taken on my phone and I wish they were better at capturing this look. I am in need of a good camera!!

Morphe Brushes | Eye Shadow Palette (brown/gold shimmer on entire lid, a mix of shimmery and matte oranges on the crease)

MAC | Embark on the outer edges of lids creating a sideways ‘v’ shape

MAC | Carbon over Embark

MAC | Shroom on brow bone

MAC | Embark and Carbon on lower lash line

ELF | Gel Liner & Eyeliner

L’Oreal | Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black

Lashes are $2 lashes i found at a local beauty store! (They are very wispy)

Forever 21 | Eyebrow Kit in Medium/Light

Maybelline | BB Cream in Light

Kat Von D | Lock It Tattoo Foundation

MAC | Prep + Prime Highlighter

NARS | Casino Bronzer

Bobbi Brown | Shimmer Brick Bronzer

MAC | Soft & Gentle Highlighter

MAC | Yash Lipstick

Red Lippy & Brown Smokey Eyes

Yee I busted out the red lipstick for this look! I haven’t worn red lipstick in about 2 years and would mostly lean towards the darker burgundy colors, but I finally got my hands on this bright red lipstick and I am in love! This lipstick is blue-toned, which also makes your teeth appear whiter, yes, yes, yes. I paired this lipstick with a light smokey brown eye look. I decided to skip falsies this time because I didn’t want a too dramatic eye look. This is me just playing around with makeup and trying different looks. It’s still a learning process, I’m trying my best! Makeup details posted below!

Morphe Brushes Vegan Brush Kit

Morphe Brushes 35 Color Warm Palette

MAC Eyeshadows (Vanilla, Shroom, Soft Brown, All That Glitters, Embark)

ELF Gel Liner

L’Oréal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara

Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant Mascara

EOS Lip Balm

MAC Kiss Me Quick Lip Liner

MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick

Let’s Make:

Using the Angled Blender Brush, I mix Vanilla, 1 and 2 all over the lid. I like to begin with a nude-y base. Using the Deluxe Shadow Brush, I mix All That Glitters and 3 over the lid again. Using the Deluxe Blending Crease Brush, I grab Soft Brown and apply right on my crease to have some definition. I apply this light in circling motions. Using a smaller crease brush, I apply Embark right under my crease and on the outer edge of my lid creating a sideways “v” shape. I then go back with the Deluxe Blending Crease Brush which still has some of the Soft Brown on it, I go back and blend the brown out more so there are no harsh lines. Using the Flat Liner Brush, I apply Embark on my lower lid, creating a smokey effect. I add over the brown with the same brush and blend it out. Using the Mini Concealer Brush, I apply Shroom in the inner corner of my eyes, right near my tear duct. With the same brush I add the gold shadow from the palette around my tear duct. I line my lids with the ELF Liner very lightly just to create some dimension, and also in the water line. I then apply the L’Oréal mascara, followed by the Make Up For Ever Mascara for more length. On to the lips! Apply any kind of lip balm. My favorite is any of the EOS lip balms because they smell so darn good! Then I line my lips with Kiss Me Quick, over lining just a little bit on my cupids bow and the bottom middle of the lower lip. Last but not least, apply Ruby Woo over the entire lip (this lipstick smells so good!). So I hope this helped and you guys enjoyed creating this look and learning with me! What other looks should I try?!

The Makeup Product That’s A Must!

Get your hands on this product as soon as you can! The NYX Dewy Finish Makeup Setting Spray is the staple in my makeup drawers. I spray this before I apply makeup, on my foundation brush, and after I’ve applied all my makeup. And wow. This spray makes my makeup look just if I’ve applied it that second. I’ll be out and 8 hours later, not one flaw. My foundation, my lipstick, and my eyeshadow will still be in place. And the best part? This spray leaves you with a dewy finish, which I love! Before I bought this product, my makeup would come off within like a couple hours. With this, I don’t even have to check up on my makeup. This is like water-proof, sweat-proof, life-proof, haha! I bought mine from Target. CVS and ULTA also carries NYX Cosmetics. This picture was taken at night, when I applied my makeup and spray in the morning. How great is that?! For the ladies that want the same effect but a more matte finish, I’ve also listed the link for that 🙂
